This is a tough one, but I think J. Cole deserves to be crowned King of NC at this moment.
He's got the co-sign from Hov, he's got an endless supply of dope lyrics, the radio-friendly singles/video, the charisma and he proudly represents his state.
If all things go according to plan, I think he could be even bigger than Drake by the end of 2010. I think our boy has more natural talent than Canada's finest.
However, I will say that Ricky Ruckus and Rain are right there waiting for their chance at the King of NC title. Both of these dudes are certified beasts.
Right now, here is my top five for King of NC considerations:
1. J. Cole 2. Ruckus 3. Rain 4. IllPO (group) 5. P Wonda
You can hate me now ....

You know what? After listening to that American Dream 3 mixtape, I think Rain is my new No. 1.
That brother is ill.

I Have Been Working On A Mixtape Project For The Last Three Months & It Is An Ode To What Hip Hop In It's Essence Is About. I Am Proud Of The Work & Will Be Displaying To The World Via Viral Face Fan Page, I Will Be Selling The Hard Copies In Durham NC Everyday After It's Release & Through Other Forms Of Media. I Would Love The Support. In Order To Promote My Mixtape I Have Been Back To The Studio To Put Together Strictly Promotional Songs. Though The Quality Isn't As Pristine As The Mixtape Because Of The Tireless Work That Was Put Into It They Are Still Very Good & Represent My City & State In A Great Light... Check Them Out....JUDE:By Loyalty COMING SOON.....

That Pop'Corn track is not half bad. Send me some more information about that artist when you get a chance (staff@nchiphopconnect.com) or just post it here on the message board.
