Sweet 16s Round 2: A Quick Turnaround

Just to give all the contestants an early heads up, the deadline for the second round of the Sweet 16s tournament will be this coming Monday, Jan 24 at 10 PM EST.

Start preparing now.

That means if you happen to advance out of the first round tomorrow, you'll have the entire weekend to write, record and submit your next 16 bars. If you are a serious emcee that should be more than enough time.

Be punctual and bring that heat!

I think the voting process was as far as we could make it.

You had 4 real life judges and one fan vote. Three of the judges picked Swayze so that alone was enough for a majority victory.

I agree that Los Vegas spit a hot Sweet 16 ... but for whatever reason a lot of people felt Swayze Jones did enough to get past him.

Regardless, I'm pretty confident that you haven't heard the last of Los Vegas. He is gonna be a star in this industry.
